BATCHES & METHODS

We see our classes as ‘spaces’ of musical learning where we strive for a good balance of instruction and interaction.

Our batches and modules cater to students at different stages of learning and disposition. Recordings, with an easy mode of instruction, are provided for every lesson. These aid music practice and enable readiness for the next class. We also facilitate an exchange of recordings where the student can get a song verified for correctness by the teacher.

Short Module for Young Beginners

An online, module based approach for young beginners (below 8 years), derived from our vast experience with teaching young children. Each module will run for approx 2.5 months and will introduce them to the Carnatic form of music in a fun way and will prepare them to transition into the formal art form down the line. Techniques involving voice exploration exercises, interactive activities with stories, colours and video presentations are used to introduce the children to basics of swara, taala and simple tunes.

Highlights of the module are-
Individual focus
Small batch size
Classes supplemented with resource booklet and recordings

This will also help parents assess the interest of the child to pursue this form of music.
